Two of the latest models presented by JeanRichard couldn’t be more different: on the one hand there is the sleek, all-black Neroscope – a limited-edition of the Aeroscope pilot’s chronograph; on the other, a colourful ladies version of the Terrascope with an aubergine-coloured dial and strap that reflect the colours of a warm Mediterranean summer.

It’s not difficult to see where the Neroscope gets its name from. The popular all-black look is achieved with a black DLC-coated titanium case and bezel with subtle differences in the direction of the brushing on the flat surfaces, black carbon-fibre composite surrounds for the pushers, a brushed black dial, black luminescent coating on the hands and, of course, a black rubber strap with black PVD-coated steel folding buckle.

This numbered limited edition of 500 pieces is powered by the JR66 calibre, which is a self-winding chronograph movement with 42 hours of power reserve.

Ladies looking for a lot more colour – and a touch of bling – in their timepiece are well served by the new ladies’ models in the Terrascope collection, which offer a splash of purple combined either with the classic combination of a white dial and diamond-set bezel or a warmer aubergine dial surrounded by amethysts on the bezel. Both models are fitted with the JR60 self-winding movement with 38-hour power reserve and come with a rubberised-feel aubergine-coloured gummy alligator strap.
