Mr. Dinesh Lakhani, Director of Kiran Gems, said the growth in the production has been mainly due to increasing demands from the brand’s existing and new customers (mainly met at the latest shows).

The production in the 1 carat plus category and smaller stones has significantly increased to meet the demands for certified diamonds and parcels.
However, production of medium size category of diamonds has increased moderately. Kiran Gems group has exported its diamonds and products to over 39 countries in the past financial year.

Currently Kiran Gems cuts and polishes approximately 5% of the global rough production.
