As part of our latest report, we met several suppliers who form the very weft of the Swiss watchmaking fabric. Here is a short portrait of Brasport Group.

ounded in 1946, watch strap and leather accessories manufacturer Brasport employs a workforce of 1,200 to 2,000 (depending on the production programme) across five production sites: one in Switzerland, at La Chaux-de- Fonds, two in China (since 1989), one in Thailand and one in Portugal. It also has customer service offices in Switzerland, New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Brasport offers all types of watch straps, from the simplest to the most complex and luxurious, in all types of skins and materials (especially rubber).

Adrien Brunner insists on the crucial importance of research and technological innovation. The company recently developed a number of innovations, notably in interchangeability, adjustability to the nearest millimetre, high-end articles and integrated technology.
