Omega opens a new boutique in St. Moritz

As St. Moritz has twice staged the Olympic Games and is home to the world’s oldest natural bob run, a store in the alpine resort is a logical next step for Omega. The brand has served as Official Timekeeper since 1932 and played a role in the invention of monobob.

isitors to St. Moritz are now able to explore and try on a full range of watches, fine jewellery and accessories at the new Omega Boutique. From the moment they step through the doors, they can expect a warm alpine welcome, which has the look, feel and fireplace of a cosy Swiss chalet.

As St. Moritz has twice staged the Olympic Games and is home to the world’s oldest natural bob run, a store in the alpine resort is a logical next step for Omega. The brand has served as Official Timekeeper since 1932 and played a role in the invention of monobob.

The store has a contrasting timber interior, reconstituted zebra wood furnishings, cream leather shelving, inviting chairs and design elements in Omega red and gold.

Commenting on the new store, Omega President and CEO, Raynald Aeschlimann said, “At Omega, we like our customers to feel at home. Our new St. Moritz Boutique is both inviting from the street and warm and welcoming inside. A wonderful place to come in from the cold and discover our products at a relaxed pace.”

In addition to exploring Omega’s watches, guests can indulge their need for speed. The new Boutique is located at the Scala building; a House dedicated to the sport of Bob and Skeleton, with restaurant, cinema, bob slide and museum.
