he Gaïa Prize was created in 1993 by the Musée international d’horlogerie to distinguish personalities who have contributed or contribute to the fame of horology – of its history, its technology and its industry. The only one of its kind, this Prize has the particularity of paying tribute to the best of the best.
The jury sits under the presidency of the Curator of the Musée international d’horlogerie, it consists of the management of the MIH and of personalities representing various circles in connection with horology. The jury consists of 10 members at least and will not exceed 15 people.
