fter conducting engineering, mathematical and mechanical studies, Gerald Charles succeeded in presenting its first-ever automatic skeleton timepiece with the screw-down crown on the left. This timepiece completes the GC Sport Collection, characterised by its case in ultra-light grade 5 titanium, 5G anti-shock movement and the screw-down crown on the left, enhancing comfort on the wrist.

This new Gerald Charles timepiece is designed by the Maison’s Creative Director Octavio Garcia and manufactured in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, taking inspiration from Gérald Genta’s original drawings. The new skeletonised movement fits perfectly within the asymmetrical shape of the Maestro case. The GCA 5482 calibre has been rotated by 180° and completely redesigned by Octavio Garcia, based on his previous original design of the Maestro 8.0 Squelette. For this reason, the balance wheel is now located at 1 o’clock, capturing all the power, while the gear train follows below.
