A wave of refinement

Ebel

Ebel is now under the new flag of the Movado Group, and the brand continues its particularly flamboyant rise in the realm of haute horlogerie and haute joaillerie with the introduction of three models that are exceptional in many ways.
For its first tourbillon, and to celebrate at the same time its return to one of its fundamentals, the motto ‘The Architects of Time’, Ebel has chosen to pay homage to the famous Villa Turque of Le Corbusier, headquarters of the brand in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
The white gold hexagonal case, inspired by the 1911 Collection, comprises an architecturally composed dial: a geometric window, whose form is inspired by the layout of the Villa Turque, opens symmetrically at its centre and contains the delicate tourbillon cage. This window is surrounded by a pavé of baguette-cut citrines that evoke the ochre tones of the villa’s bricks. This brick-like structure is engraved on the back of the watch, where there is a bulls-eye, also reminiscent of the Villa Turque. The overall result is very architectural and very refined.
To celebrate the 20 years of one of its emblematic models, the Beluga, Ebel is presenting a new design of the watch, subtly reworked, carved in platinum, and entirely set with 427 baguette-cut diamonds, for a total of 25.45 carats, right up to its famous bracelet. This demonstration stone-setting savoir-faire requires more than 20 different cuts of diamonds for an especially sparkling appearance and an incomparable luxurious feel.

Ebel

Finally, in its fireworks of jewellery prowess, Ebel offers its avant-garde New Wave 2005. Inspired by the famous Vanua, in the Ocean Jewels Collection, the New Wave is an innovative and bold interpretation of Ebel’s emblematic wave. More than 1,000 precious gemstones - 876 brilliant-cut diamonds and 147 baguette-cut green tourmalines for a total of 21 carats – skilfully ride this wave of sensual shapes with their silky feel.
The watch is equipped with a quartz movement, and has no crown (the time is set using a button on the back). It fits perfectly into the undulations of Ebel’s very precious and creative New Wave.
