The L.U.C Tourbillon Titan SL, for “Super Light”, with a titanium case and aluminium tourbillon cage, is a world exclusive.
The rotating carriage itself weighs a mere 0.16 grams. Steel would have made it 2.5 times heavier. All 62 components of the tourbillon, which require a volume of 306 mm3, weigh a mere 0.39 grams.
This innovative aluminium cage moves beneath a curving bridge crafted from transparent sapphire crystal. The plate with the indices for the hours, minutes and seconds is also made of transparent sapphire crystal, assuring an unobstructed view of the front side of the movement-plate.
