It is delivered with the very first official rating certificate for movements that have been awarded the Hall-mark of Geneva. This new certificate, issued expressly for Patek Philippe, brings together the Swiss Official Chronometer-Testing Institute (COSC) and the Hall-mark of Geneva for the first time. The back of the «officer» case features a cover with an anti-dust hinge, which opens to reveal the movement through a sapphire crystal. This platinum model, with a black dial, celebrates the opening of the manufacture’s new building. Produced in a limited series of 10, it bears the engraved inscription «Commémoration 1997» on the case back.
