Michael Beaudry started his own company in 1984 with a simple diamond ring and a focus on hand crafted excellence. Having grown from such simple beginnings to a fully-fledged jewellery atelier, this year Beaudry is expanding into watches, with watch veteran Bob Siragusa at the helm of the new division, Beaudry Time.

“My plan from day one was to create a luxury limited edition collection of platinum mechanical and complicated timepieces that do not appear like all the other historic brands out there, but one day they too will become historic, especially the men's models,” Siragusa says. “I think they will quickly be collectors' pieces, as we have already received pre-orders from collectors and retailers. The future is worldwide limited distribution to retailers and watch distributors.”
The new collection is all mechanical, using both current and vintage movements, and they are all limited, some to 24 pieces in the world and others as unique pieces. Beaudry has also designed some interesting watch straps with grooves and cut outs to go with these watches. The price range for the timepieces is US$100,000 and up.
“We are very excited to combine the history of Beaudry Couture jewellery as the most complicated jewellery made today with the finest of Swiss watch making,” says Michael Beaudry. “It is our goal to not only reward our collectors with timepieces worthy of addition to their collections, but that our timepieces will be respected and stand on their own merits. Beaudry Time will not be just an extension of the brand but an extension of the mindset and culture of Beaudry, in which we are completely dedicated to using the finest components, high carat gold, platinum and the extraordinary diamonds that our master diamond cutting firm is known for.”
The new Beaudry Time collection offers a signature style that mixes artisanal craftsmanship with high watchmaking.
