New CEO for Lange Uhren GmbHCompany’s management team remains unchanged

May 2004

Fabian Krone has been appointed as the new CEO of Lange Uhren GmbH. This will put him in charge of the future development of the prestigious brand of luxury watches, A. Lange & Söhne.

Krone has been Managing Director of Marketing, Sales and Finance for Lange Uhren GmbH since January 1, 2003. He will continue to run the company in that capacity together with Hartmut Knothe who, as Executive Vice President, is responsible for Production and Technology, and who has played a major role in the development of the company since its resurrection by Walter Lange on December 7, 1990.

With a leadership team that has proven its worth, top-notch products such as the recently introduced LANGE DOUBLE SPLIT, the first double-split chronograph in the world, and a dedicated staff of 320, the company is ready for the future. “The great results at the International Watch Show in Geneva, which we just attended, and the positive feedback from our retailers and the trade press about A. Lange & Söhne’s product innovations have confirmed that we are on course“, says Krone.

The exclusive timepieces, which are produced in small numbers – and still largely handcrafted – are sold via a highly selective network of prestigious jewelers and dealers in 35 countries.
