Carl F. Bucherer, the independent watch brand with head offices in Lucerne, has been represented in Taiwan since August 1st by its subsidiary, Carl F. Bucherer Taiwan Ltd. Responsible for Taiwan, and the rest of south-east Asia, the company will be moving into new premises on November 1st, under Managing Director, David Vallata.





In Taiwan since 2002, the Carl F. Bucherer watch brand was represented by a local agent until July 2005. On August 1st, 2005, this role was handed over to a new Carl F. Bucherer subsidiary based in Taipei - the fourth independent company belonging to Bucherer Montres S.A., after Hong Kong, North America and Germany.
On November 1st, 2005, David Vallata will take over as Managing Director of Carl F. Bucherer Taiwan Ltd. At the same time, the company will be moving into new premises in the well-known Chun Shen district - one of Taipei City's best addresses. Previously Area Sales Director for south-east Asia based at the head offices of Carl F. Bucherer in Lucerne, David Vallata is no newcomer to the market in Taiwan. At the helm of the recently founded subsidiary, he will be responsible for the development of a high quality distribution network, with a planned increase from the current ten points of sale in Taiwan, to a total of 30 by the end of 2007.

This important step further consolidates the presence of Carl F. Bucherer in Asia, the market of the future. Taiwan is currently twelfth for Swiss watch exports. The company's presence in Taiwan is complemented by that in China and Hong Kong, reinforcing growth and brand recognition throughout the whole region.
