Last week, the traditional Christmas cocktail was held in the Geneva de Grisogono boutique on the Rue du Rhône. No less than 500 guests flocked to enjoy a preview of the new watch and jewellery line.



To host the event, the boutique was decked out in a warm and discreetly refined winter outfit. Christmas trees shimmering with cognac coloured decorations, sparkling leaves and gilded tinsel were all subtly arranged to harmonise with the new collection presented by Fawaz Gruosi, founder and creator of de GRISOGONO. And while the setting thrilled the senses, the collection displayed in the dazzling show windows was transformed into a gourmet treat for the eyes and a sinful delight to the touch.



Exclusively for the guests at this glittering evening, the collection christened BROWNYBROWN GOLD was unveiled, much like a tribute to the enchantment of the winter season. An entirely original gold, a radiant gold, a gold revisited as if by a magic alchemist’s touch on the eve of Christmas, pervaded by sensuality, softness and voluptuous warmth. This daring new line of jewellery interprets this exclusive noble material through bracelets, rings, earrings and pendants, occasionally in subtle colour gradations of precious stones, as well as on men’s and ladies’ watches.



The numerous personalities present at the reception included Prince and Princess Victor Emmanuel de Savoie, Mr. Charles Giscard d’Estaing, Count and Countess Jérôme de Witt, Count and Countess Jacques Meyer de Stadelhofen, Baron and Baroness André de Pfyffer d’Altishofen, Mr. Julio Santo Domingo, famous Swiss tennis players Marc Rosset and George Bastl, as well as numerous representatives from the worlds of politics, art, entertainment and the media.

The prestigious guests sampled an exquisitely flavoured cuisine inspired by Italian dishes, prepared by Angelo de la Closerie from Cologny, as well as superb smoking-hot pizzas baked in ovens outside the boutique. The atmosphere was further enlivened by the joyful tunes performed by famous singer Al-Bert, who had travelled from Saint Tropez specifically for this evening.
Small wonder that the party lasted late into the night…
