Las Vegas Signature Salons attendance up 15 percent

June 2006

Signature Salons, held at Wynn Las Vegas during market week for the second year in a row, saw an increase of 15 percent in attendance.

First-day attendance was up by more than 30 percent, according to a press release from VNU's Jewelry Group.

“We were very pleased the second year of Signature Salons. This is an event that is really starting to get some traction with the marketplace,” said Lee Arevian, vice president of VNU Jewelry Group, said in the release. “Not only did we have a significant increase in retailers but the number of exhibitors also grew by 30 percent (to over 260) which is quite an accomplishment in the second year of the show. This clearly speaks to the standard that Signature upholds and underscores that this is the destination for the high end part of the market.”

Signature Salons was also the only location in which to see the collections of more than 100 elite jewelry companies.

One of the highlights of Signature Salons was the exclusive Timepiece Privé, which allowed the finest watch companies to showcase their collections in the beautiful Fairway Villas of Wynn, which overlook the spectacular 18-hole Wynn golf course.

Signature Salons, now firmly established as a must-attend jewelry event in Las Vegas, plans to be back next year, the release said.
