Raymond Weil main sponsor of Château de Jazz 2006

September 2006

Raymond Weil and art and culture are inextricably intertwined with each other. This year, Raymond Weil is celebrating a history of 30 years of craftsmanship. This anniversary was also celebrated via music in the Netherlands, as the Swiss company decided to link its brand name to Château de Jazz by acting as one of the main sponsors of the music festival.

Raymond Weil Chateau de Jazz took place in the vicinity of Kasteel de Haar in Haarzuilens near Utrecht. A very impressive line-up was put
together for this spectacular event. Various top artists performed at the festival, including Zuco 103, Hind, Deborah Carter Quartet, Charli Green Bigband and Young Sinatras.

As Kasteel de Haar was enveloped in a swinging and festive ambience, it served as the perfect decor for the official launch of the Raymond Weil Parsifal Rectangular. This new model within the Parsifal line is available in a men's as well as ladies’ version. The men's version comes in a rectangular case with a black sapphire fitted into the crown. The ladies’ version comes in a combination of 18 carat yellow gold and steel with 44 clear diamonds.

One of the highlights of the Raymond Weil watches displayed at the Château de Jazz was the latest Shine Limited Edition in pink gold which was specially manufactured as a tribute to the 30th anniversary of the brand. Stemming from the famous Shine collection and entirely devoted to women, Raymond Weil used precious materials and has limited its production to 99 pieces. Each piece is minutely numbered from 1/99 to 99/99 and bears the signature of Mr. Raymond Weil, the brand’s founder.
