François-Paul Journe won the Gold Hand Award recently at the VIth Grand Prix d’Horlogerie of Geneva for his Grand-Strike Clockwatch and Minute-Repeater, which has no less than 10 patents protecting its full grand-strike functionality and operational safety.

This great honour comes after he received the title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres from the French Ministry of Culture, thus confirming that timekeeping is an authentic art.

These celebrations come with the reinforcement of the brand at an international level with the launch of a new shop in Hong Kong in Spring 2006 and the forthcoming opening of the first François-Paul Journe shop in the United States (Florida) in January 2007 and in Geneva in March 2007.
