New access to the watch industry’s patent registrations

Centredoc is a leading player in following the latest technology in the watch industry. It has launched a new patent information database service dedicated to monitoring the latest patent registrations of watch sketches and models.

Available on the Internet, this new service allows watch companies to stay easily and rapidly informed about the latest drawings and new models that are being registered by the competition.

Each month Centredoc will not only publish all the latest registered patents, but will also identify and present, via its remotely accessible Internet portal http://rih.centredoc.ch,; new designs and new horological models (cases, straps, bracelets, buckles, clasps, dials, models etc.) registered using the following procedures:

WIPO – designs and international models – since January 2006
OHIM – designs and European models. since January 2006
US – designs and American models – since January 2001

Progressively, Centredoc will expand this cover to other countries and geographical zones, notably Switzerland, and will complete backdated collections on its Internet site (2001 for WIPO and 2003 for OHIM)

This monitoring service is in addition to a complete range of technical information products offered to watch companies by Centredoc, in particular la Revue des Inventions Horlogères (RIH) an horological patent alerting bulletin.
