Gisele Bundchen yesterday challenged Thierry Henry to a charity penalty shoot-out at the press conference to announce Ebel, the prestigious luxury Swiss watch brand as the new timing partner of Arsenal Football Club.

Gisele, the face of Ebel, offered her favourite Ebel 1911 BTR GMT, to Y Ikatu Xingu, a charity for the preservation of the headwaters of the Xingu River in Matto Grosso, Brazil. The watch was to be given up to the charity if she succeeded in kicking a football through a target under the guidance of Thierry Henry, Captain of Arsenal Football club.

Gisele and Thierry Henry were in London to mark the beginning of the partnership between Ebel and Arsenal. Gisele herself shares a passion for the sport – before being spotted as a model she was on track to becoming a professional sportswoman. A true soccer lover, she was excited at the chance to be kicking balls with Arsenal’s top goal scorer at the announcement of the partnership.

Ebel will be the Official Timing Partner to Arsenal for the next five years – providing the timing interface for fans within the stadium and adding new timekeeping sophistication at the Club and on the training ground.
