Recipient of many prestigious design awards, Danae uses this novel gold fabric in a variety of products, from brooches to necklaces to lampshades to garments. Using high-level technology, pure gold is processed into ultra fine pointed fibers with a diameter of 30 micron, then it is woven on a loom. No longer a sheet of metal, the gold has been transformed into `fabric jewelry' with a silky brilliance. Its glittering surface is light and airy, and soft to the touch.
