Although there are many different cuts on the market, Oliva has created a diamond cut that is clean, with beautiful brilliance, which offers a bigger look for a smaller price. The Oliva cut is a variation on the Emerald cut, but with more facets that are cut in such a way that the diamond has maximum reflection of light. Another advantage of this cut is that the large size of the facets found uniquely in the Oliva cut creates an almost `open' quality in the diamond, allowing the eye to see well into it in a way that does not allow for the `hiding' of slight imperfections. The same is true for color as well as clarity. This new cut is available only within the original settings and designs in the Oliva jewelry collection.
