Building on the popular appeal of its John Lennon Jewelry Collection, JewelAmerica has added several new pieces to the line, including a series of stainless steel watches. Designed and produced in cooperation with Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, the jewelry collection is based on original sketches and themes from the musician's life. According to Rick Birnbaum, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the acceptance of the line has been very strong, with sellouts reported from some retailers. The new additions are being targeted to independent and national chains in major markets. Bracelets, pendants, pins and collectibles in sterling silver and 14K gold bear self-portraits of Lennon, lyrics from his popular songs and drawings he made for his friends and family. Among the newest items are three stainless steel watches that retail from $150 to $595, a sterling silver bracelet with heart-and-music-note toggle clasp, a 14K gold heart pendant bearing images of John Lennon and Yoko Ono and a ruby and diamond pendant.
