Where there is a need, often someone comes up with a novel solution to fill that need. This is certainly the case of Sylvie Chapuzet. Three years ago, she created a very interesting `grouping' of about 30 jewelers and designers called, quite aptly, French-Spirit.com. For many small jewelry companies and designers, having a creative product is only the beginning. To get the product to the target audience is quite another. French-Spirit.com provides a platform for these companies to get their message out to consumers, retailers and the media around the world. In addition, this website provides information about happenings in the jewelry industry, facts about precious stones and other pertinent material, as well as offering a forum for discussion. Along with Nathalie Koelsch who handles marketing for the brand, Chapuzet takes French-Spirit.com to many international trade shows and at Basel, with some of its members and their innovative products.
