Fashion Meets Jewelry

May 2003

Thirty prestigious international fashion designers tried their hand at jewelry design for the `Masters Jewellery Collection - 2003 Edition', held in Milan during Fashion Week. This `It Jewels' exhibition will be travelling to other cities in Italy over the next few months and then to the USA and China in the
summer. The jewelry was fabricated by companies in Arezzo, where the event was set up in 1988 to provide a kind of laboratory where different techniques and methods could be tried as well as giving a boost to local goldsmiths. Over the years, more than 200 unique pieces have been created by Arezzo's talented artisans.
