Every two years in October, the managers of the Golay Group companies around the globe meet in Lausanne, Switzerland, for their Management Forum. In spite of the unfavourable economic environment - or maybe just because of it - this year's meeting was marked by a formidable drive to innovation and dynamism throughout the Group's divisions and activities.

Key subjects of the 2-day Forum were branding and the improvement of results. Each one of the three divisions - Wholesale, Retail and Production - has lately received much attention in the trade, with new achievements that were introduced this year, bringing tangible advantages to customers and partners. And more innovations are in the tube.

In over a hundred years of its history, the Company has cultivated a preference for pioneering ideas. Additional efforts are now going into communicating new developments to both, the trade and the general public, in order to increase visibility of the Group's innovations and trade names - Golay, Oro Vivo and Signity - and to provide business partners with an active and growing support.

The Forum focused on how to manage the Group's creative momentum to its best advantage, in the present economic environment as well as in the long term.
