The new president of the Italian Goldsmiths Club (Club degli Orafi) is Andrea Broggian, 40, managing director of Broggian spa, distributor for Italy and other European countries of Mikimoto pearls and creator of the Compagnia delle Perle and Mimi brands. The Club is a free association of companies in the gold jewellery sector. Formed in 1980, its main office is in the historic Palazzo Bagatti Valsecchi in Milan. Its aim is to promote the sector in Italy and abroad and to continually update members.
