Achievements in 'Inventiveness' Award: the winners!

The theme for this year's award was 'Fashion Hits for the Wrist' in the three categories of 'Haute Couture', 'Prêt-à-Porter' and 'New Combinations'. Couture International Jeweler would like to thank the many designers from around the world who submitted their entries. All the pieces were superb and reflected a great deal of creativity and talent. One Winner and an Honorable Mention were chosen in each category.

Haute Couture

Winner: Cathrine Clarke of Kate's Jewelry for her multi-colored textured 18K gold bracelet with rough diamonds, tourmaline slices and tumbled peridots, reflecting the art of the natural environment.

Honorable Mention: Ana Paula Feijó of Amsterdam Sauer for her 18K white gold bracelet formed by various ellipses with details in pavÉ diamonds weighing 56 carats.

Prêt-à-porter

Winner: Laura Kanter, sponsored by TÄnnler of Switzerland, for her 18K yellow gold bracelet adorned with green and pink tourmalines, blue sapphire, citrine, blue topaz, amethyst and brilliants.

Honorable Mention: Gláucia Silveira of FR Hueb for her striking 18K yellow gold bracelet encircled with diamonds.

New Combinations

Winner: L Danezy for her unusual bracelet made of brass covered with an oxidized iron plate, a wet cloth and gold leaf.
A layer of protective resin gives the piece its shine.
Honorable Mention: Mariana Rocha for a pair of bracelets made of chamomile leaves enclosed in a plastic tube, decorated with 18K yellow gold, and 36 oval white topaz stones enclosed in a plastic tube adorned with silver.
