Lange & Söhne has just announced that it will present an “extraordinary” innovation at the next SIHH which will take place in Geneva from April 19th to the 26th 2004.
According to the German company, which belongs to the Richemont Group, this new watch will “transcend the known limits in the mechanical measuring of time.” Voluntarily mysterious, the same communiqué states “that with the aid of a small additional hand, [Lange & Söhne] will open a new path in horological art.” Sorry, we can't tell you more. We won't learn anything further for the moment, we can only hope that the proclaimed innovation will be of the same stature as the announcement.
