The gleaming California sunshine and a profusion of Piaget diamond jewelry made for a dazzling red carpet at this weekend’s Spirit Awards, held on the beach in Santa Monica.

Although considered to be more casual than the Oscars, the event attracts the biggest stars in independent film who turn to Piaget to add a little sparkle to their attire.

Piaget shines at the Spirit Awards

Best Supporting Female nominee, Janet McTeer, looked stunning in Piaget Rose Fairy earrings, crafted in white gold with brilliant-cut and pear-shaped diamonds, while Best Male Lead nominee, Demiàn Bichir, accented his look with a Piaget Polo FortyFive timepiece.

Hollywood’s newest leading lady, Jessica Chastain, accessorized her red carpet look with a Piaget Limelight ring and Lucy Liu looked effortlessly chic in a yellow gold Piaget Possession cuff with matching earrings and diamond paved ring.

Best Female lead nominee, Rachel Harris, delighted fans and photographers with her choice of Piaget’s Rose earrings and matching ring, both set with diamonds and blue sapphires, while her “New Girl” co-star, Max Greenfield, wore a classic white gold Piaget Emperador watch.

Piaget dug deep into their archives to help Li Bin Bing look dazzling on the carpet in one of a kind, vintage gold and turquoise earrings and gold cuff watch.

Michelle Chen lit of the carpet with diamonds wearing Piaget Limelight Garden Party collection: Diamonds Light Garland necklace and bracelet. Also dressed in Piaget were Best Supporting Female nominee, Harmony Santana, presenter, Patricia Clarkson, and film stars such as Anthony Mackie, Penelope Ann Miller, Illeana Douglas, Paz Vega, Maria Leon, Blanca Suarez, Virginie Efira, Nicolas Bedos, Fiona Hefti, Carlos Leal, Judith Godreche, celebrated jazz singer, Melody Gardot and Decades coowner, Christos Garkinos.

The Piaget Producer’s Award has become a coveted prize at the Spirit Awards, honoring emerging producers who demonstrate creativity, tenacity, and vision to produce quality, independent films, despite limited resources. This year the award was bestowed upon Sophia Lin for her outstanding production of “Take Shelter.”

Following the afternoon ceremony, celebrities and VIP guests joined Piaget CEO Philippe Léopold-Metzger in the brand’s exclusive backstage lounge. This year the space had been magically transformed into a lush garden party filled with thousands of fragrant Yves Piaget roses and a cascading waterfall. On display were dazzling creations from Piaget’s newest high jewelry and watch collections.
