Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Daytona, Antiquorum is pleased to offer an outstanding selection of 14 exceptional examples of the iconic watch. Amongst them is a Rolex Ref. 6263 Gold Daytona Paul Newman prototype with lemon dial and graphics. Unknown to the collector community until recently, this is one of the rarest and most coveted Daytona’s ever to appear on the auction market. Estimate: CHF 300,000 – 500,000

Also offered in the special Rolex Daytona chapter is the extraordinary Rolex Ref. 6269/8 Cosmograph Oman. Custom ordered and made in extremely small numbers (only 2 others have surfaced on the market to date) this example is possibly unique due to its caseback with the Sultan of Oman sword logo. As this watch has remained unworn in a safe, it is offered in pristine condition and is without a doubt the best ever example of the 6269 to be offered at auction. Sold to Oman in 1985, this is a fine water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman’s wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, bezel set with 44 diamonds, dial set with 240 diamonds and nine sapphires, and an 18K yellow gold Rolex Ref. 7205 riveted bracelet.
