Piaget launches two-tone Dancers

August 2013

The latest models in Piaget’s Dancer combine precious white and pink gold in 28mm and 38mm case sizes in a new, luxurious two-tone style.

The first in a long series of ultra-thin watches with a pure, restrained design, the Dancer watch displayed an elegantly refined style right from the time of its launch in 1986. A bezel forming a perfect circle adorned with double gadroons; a cambered sapphire crystal, dumbbell-shaped links forming an all-gold bracelet seamlessly integrated with the ultra-thin case: a truly impressive array of assets endowed this range with its unique and timeless charm.

The two new models are designed to appeal to both sexes, with the 38mm model equipped with Piaget’s hand-wound 430P movement. This 2.1mm thick caliber is a descendant of the 9P caliber that was first introduced in 1957 and helped Piaget to make its mark in the field of ultra-thin watches.

Both models feature a sunburst satin-brushed silver-toned dial surrounded by 36 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, as well as double gadroons that lend a subtle visual rhythm to the gemsetting on the pink gold bezel, this timepiece is crafted in the finest Piaget tradition and its innovative design stems from the two-tone design of the bracelet in 18-carat pink and white gold.
