A key step for Titoni with its new diving watch

The first Seascoper came out in 1963, at that time still under the name Felca, Titoni’s parent brand. Titoni cooperates with the well-known research diver and internationally famous marine biologist Uli Kunz, who shared his diving expertise for the development and roll-out of the new Seascoper 600. The result: a tough and comfortable line of timepieces fitted with Titoni’s T10 in-house movement.

itoni presents a whole new generation of diver’s watches with its COSC-certified Seascoper 600: tough and very comfortable to wear, the latest model satisfies the highest standards and is the ideal companion for professional divers wishing to explore underwater worlds.

The first Seascoper came out in 1963, at that time still under the name Felca, Titoni’s parent brand. This was one of the first popular wristwatches for divers that was waterproof to a depth of 200 metres. The appeal of this legendary 1960s Seascoper lay primarily in its practical design and the outstanding legibility of its dial.

In the 1960s, the Seascoper was one of the first popular wristwatches for divers that was waterproof to a depth of 200 metres.

The latest model, the Seascoper 600, is a COSC-certified chronometer that marks a historic turning point: fitted with Titoni’s very own T10 manufacture movement, it is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 600 metres. The watch has been developed specifically for professional divers and sets new standards in this field.

What is most striking about the Seascoper 600 is the brilliant combination of ruggedness and sportsmanlike design. Its winding crown is fitted with a special gasket system to ensure the watch remains absolutely waterproof. The tough casing also guarantees that the high-quality, in-house T10 manufacture movement is protected against not only water but also pressure, impacts and dust.

A combination of ruggedness and sportsmanlike design.

The ceramic bezel can be rotated anti-clockwise and is characterised by its striking dive time scale. The outer edge of the bezel is serrated to make it easy to grasp when setting and adjusting the dive time. The triangular zero mark has a luminous dot so that the dive time can be read perfectly, even in dark and murky water.

The indices, hours and hands are coated with luminous paint and glow brightly in the dark so that the diver can safely check how long they have been underwater at any time – a must for surviving at depths that daylight doesn’t reach.

The Seascoper 600’s helium release valve, developed specially for professional divers, protects the device from being damaged when the diver surfaces from great depths. During the decompression phase, sometimes called the ascent phase, divers who have been working in diving bells or hyperbaric chambers give off helium.

This gas escapes through human tissue much faster than it can from a waterproof diver’s watch. To ensure that the watch glass withstands the huge excess pressure undamaged, this indispensable instrument for divers has been integrated in the Seascoper 600.

Another striking design feature of the Seascoper 600 is the transparent back of its case. Shaped like a porthole and screwed into place, it offers a fascinating view of the T10 manufacture movement.

The folding clasp, designed specifically for this model, is an eye-catcher. With a clever diver’s extension, it not only guarantees the highest wearing comfort and safety but also bears the quality seal of approval of every Titoni watch on its push-button, the plum blossom logo.
