The new 40-mm M2 Seven Seas S from Tutima Glashütte features a dégradé dial in dynamic red or maritime blue. As is typical for watches in the Seven Seas series, the stainless steel cases with screwed back and threaded crown with protective flanks can withstand a tested pressure of 50 atmospheres.

erman watch brand Tutima Glashütte presents two sporty new M2 Seven Seas S models with cases in 40-mm midsize format. These timepieces create an illusion of depth with a dégradé dial in dynamic red or maritime blue.

When it comes to depth, these automatic watches are completely in their element. As is typical for watches in the Seven Seas series, the stainless steel cases with screwed back and threaded crown with protective flanks can withstand a tested pressure of 50 atmospheres. This makes them seaworthy companions for snorkelling and diving, and also equips them for every daily (or nightly) adventure ashore.

As is usual with diver’s watches, the partially polished stainless steel bezel with luminescent marker at the “12” can only be rotated anticlockwise. The hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova luminescent material to guarantee that the time can also be read at a glance in the dark. The 2.5-mm-thick sapphire crystal above the dial is antireflective, thus mini- mising irksome reflections above and below the water’s surface.

The 40-mm case with integrated lugs assures that these watches fit perfectly, also on slimmer wrists. In addition to a brushed stainless steel bracelet, the red model is optionally available with a two-component wristband made of impregnated leather. The underside of the strap is crafted from skin-friendly rubber. Red stitching along the wristband’s sides matches the dial’s colour and adds an attractive chromatic accent.

Like the other watches in this series, these new S models encase a precise pacemaker: Tutima’s self-winding Caliber 330 is ennobled with the Tutima gold seal and offers a 38-hour power after its mainspring has been fully wound.

The new M2 Seven Seas S in blue comes with a stainless steel bracelet. The red model is available with a stainless steel bracelet or a two-component strap.
