he open-worked movement is without doubt the star of this new version of the Mirrored Force Resonance. Armin Strom has definitely cracked the code of how to use resonance in a wristwatch to synchronise two movements in one timepiece in order to achieve higher chronometric precision and consistency. The system works by means of the patented Resonance Clutch Spring, which directly connects the two hairsprings for the fastest and most regular resonant state ever witnessed in a wristwatch.
The Mirrored Force Resonance allows the wearer to track their performance with twin seconds indicators linked to the two resonant regulating organs, which can be synchronised using a flyback function activated by a pusher on the case.
The movement is also a showcase for the handmade decoration techniques that are mastered in-house by Armin Strom’s watchmakers. The 3D-shaped balance bridges and all chamfers are hand-polished, and the dial side surfaces are also hand-worked with frosted, perlage or circular-grained finishes. Limited to 50 pieces, the 43mm steel Manufacture Editions feature a striking off-centre grenage dial in blue or green with matching Alcantara strap.
