Formex Aria Manufacture Chronometer: opening a new chapter

Formex has consistently elevated its horological credentials in recent years. Now it unveils a fully integrated titanium bracelet watch powered by its very first manufacture movement, developed exclusively in collaboration with Horage.

C

elebrated for its meticulous attention to detail, exceptional value proposition and expertise in advanced materials, Formex once again demonstrates its ambition with this latest creation, crafted entirely from grade 5 titanium and limited to just 100 pieces in its inaugural production run.

At the heart of the watch beats an exceptional micro-rotor calibre measuring only 2.9mm in thickness — the first manufacture movement ever introduced by the brand. Developed together with Horage, it offers a 72-hour power reserve alongside COSC chronometer certification. Technical sophistication continues with the inclusion of a silicon hairspring and silicon escapement, enhancing resistance to magnetic fields.

The dial, available in Ardesia Grey, Denso Blue or Selva Green, is produced by Cadranor, the Swiss dial manufacture operated by the family behind Formex and sister company to renowned case and bracelet specialist Dexel. Its stamped texture recalls the fluid patterns formed by moving water on natural surfaces, reinforcing the organic aesthetic that defines the Aria’s design language. The integrated bracelet features the brand’s patented micro-adjustment clasp system, allowing up to 3mm of extension on each side without removing the watch from the wrist. Simply put, one of the most compelling offerings in independent Swiss watchmaking today.
