aeger-LeCoultre’s latest Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Pegasus pays tribute to the mythical winged horse through an impressive display of craftsmanship. The 18k pink gold case is entirely hand engraved with a sculptural depiction of Pegasus set against a cloud motif, requiring 180 hours of work by the Manufacture’s master engravers. The artistic theme continues on the dial, where multiple layers of blue lacquer create depth and contrast with the open-worked movement.

Powering the watch is the manually wound Calibre 179, featuring the fourth-generation Gyrotourbillon. Comprising 123 components, the multi-axis regulator performs a captivating ballet, with its inner cage rotating every 16 seconds and its peripheral carriage completing a full revolution every minute. The Duoface movement also displays a second time zone and a 24-hour indicator on the reverse side.
