Kerbedanz 65’27’’ Collection: reimagining time

Kerbedanz 65'27'' Collection: reimagining time

For its 15th anniversary, the independent Swiss watchmaker introduces a highly original display concept that combines mathematics, symbolism and artistic craftsmanship in a new expression of contemporary elegance.

T

he new 65’27’’ collection is built around a singular time display: a lone minute hand interacts with an hour disc marked by a diamond. Their alignment occurs every 65 minutes and 27 seconds, creating a fleeting visual highlight in which the diamond is magnified through the hand.

The concept originates from the mathematical cadence governing the hour disc’s rotation, but it also carries a personal significance. The numbers 65 and 27 refer to the birth date of co-founder and Chief Design Officer Aram Petrosyan, linking the watch to its creator. This birth date also inspired the limited editions of 9, 27 and 65 pieces.

Produced in collaboration with Comblémine, the dials feature delicate colimaçonnage finishing, while the 38mm case houses the ultra-thin KRB10 movement. Available in limited editions across titanium, palladium and rose gold, the 65’27’’ reflects Kerbedanz’s enduring focus on symbolic, emotionally charged watchmaking.
