hile the independent watchmaker’s first carbon DC6 employed forged carbon, the Night Forest adopts UD carbon, whose continuous fibre structure offers superior strength, durability and resistance to delamination. The result is a case architecture designed for longevity, with titanium providing the waterproof inner chamber and carbon serving as a protective outer shell.
The watch’s visual identity is defined by a smoky topaz-green dial. Crafted from anodised titanium, it combines a hand-executed sunburst finish, transparent lacquer and a subtle trompe-l’œil smoked effect that creates remarkable depth. Silver-powder numerals appear suspended within the dial, enhancing its three-dimensional character.
Inside beats the in-house H74 calibre, featuring David Candaux’s signature 30° inclined flying tourbillon, a 55-hour power reserve and titanium bridges and mainplate. The movement showcases the brand’s technical expertise through hand-finishing, cascading bridges and a black-anodised titanium tourbillon cage. Completing the design is the patented retractable “Magic Crown” at 6 o’clock, a hallmark of the maison.
