Corum Admiral Ceramic: a new material on deck

Ceramic enters the Admiral collection with three new interpretations. Blue, two-tone and skeletonised versions extend Corum’s recent redesign, combining a 39mm case, integrated bracelet and automatic calibres developed with Concepto.

orum’s renewal of the Admiral continues through a change of material. Following the redesigned collection presented in April 2026, ceramic now brings its lightness and scratch resistance to a watch whose identity has long drawn on nautical references.

Three versions explore this direction. Titanium Blue pairs ceramic with Grade 5 titanium in the bracelet, while Bicolor introduces 5N gold. The third combines anthracite ceramic with a skeletonised movement, giving the Admiral a more architectural expression. Each measures 39mm across and 8.9mm thick, with water resistance to 50 metres.

Alternating brushed and polished links extend the Admiral's case into an integrated bracelet. Ceramic introduces a new material expression, offered with titanium, 5N gold or an anthracite finish framing the skeletonised CO232 calibre.

The collection retains the design introduced earlier this year, including trapezoidal indexes incorporating the Admiral’s historic pennants. An integrated bracelet replaces conventional lugs, extending the case directly around the wrist. Its five-link construction alternates brushed and polished surfaces, bringing definition to the different materials.

The automatic CO231 and skeletonised CO232 were developed with Concepto, the movement manufacture owned by Corum. Both operate at 4Hz and provide 72 hours of power reserve. The former comprises 172 components, the latter 181. On the skeletonised model, the display is restricted to hours, minutes and seconds, leaving the movement’s structure in view.

A sapphire caseback reveals satin-brushed surfaces, polished bevels and a grained mainplate. The gilded rotor carries Corum’s key emblem and the inscription “The Key of Time Since 1955”. These additions build on the Admiral’s revised foundations, making material and movement equally central to its renewed identity.

Price: CHF 18,900 (Titanium Blue) / CHF 24,900 (Skeleton) / CHF 33,000 (Bicolor)
