wo decades after its introduction, the Victorinox Maverick returns with a revised approach to proportions and construction. The 39mm steel case establishes a compact framework for a collection built around practical features, with quartz and automatic options sharing the same emphasis on durability.
Brushed and polished surfaces articulate the case, while a bidirectional steel bezel carries either a polished mineral or ceramic insert, depending on the reference. Luminescent detailing extends to the bezel, complementing the luminous hands and hour markers. The dial combines a metallic finish with indexes that alternate polished and sandblasted surfaces.
The distinction between versions continues beneath the dial. Quartz models use the Swiss Ronda 715 movement and offer magnetic resistance, while automatic references house the Sellita SW200. This gives buyers a choice between two familiar approaches to timekeeping within the same design family.
Double anti-shock protection and water resistance up to 200 metres underline the collection’s functional brief. A tool-free strap-changing system is fitted throughout the range, making it easier to adapt the watch to different activities or simply alter its appearance. Such features give the redesign substance beyond its revised dimensions. Developed and manufactured in Switzerland, the Maverick also carries Victorinox’s 5+ year warranty.
