Fears Brunswick 39 Perpetual Calendar: a lasting complication

Fears brings a perpetual calendar to its core collection, marking ten years since the British company’s revival. A newly sculpted Brunswick case houses an automatic movement with hand-finishing, a gold rotor and the brand’s first moon-phase display.

F

ears introduces its first perpetual calendar as a permanent addition to the Brunswick collection. The cushion-shaped steel case measures 39mm across, with broad polished bevels defining a slimmer profile.

The Silver Mink dial combines a frosted silver surface with black gold-plated hands and indexes. Bespoke Bristol lettering follows the calendar subdials, while hand-finished silver moons cross a black lacquer sky at 6 o’clock.

The automatic calibre 55115 pairs a modified Dubois Dépraz module with a hand-finished Sellita SW300 base. An 18k gold rotor supplies winding, with 47 hours of power reserve.

Once correctly set and kept running, the calendar requires no correction until 2100. A hand-stitched brown ostrich leather strap and a supplied SwissKubik watch winder complete the presentation package.
