Alfex has earned its reputation as a brand that dares to be different by regularly creating watches that are out of the norm. Imaginative, eye-catching, innovative, surprising, are all adjectives that can be used honestly to describe their creations. We’ve had the Bango-Time, the Bubble-Bango and the Two-Time Bango all of which were original in their concept and appearance. Today, we have the Snakey!
Designed by the Italian designer Max Giorgetti, the Snakey elegantly winds around the wrist in a reptilian fashion – but without the sneaky bite. The soft, light bangle-like material is black Elasten 3000 and is fitted with a simple and safe pressure clasp that leaves the watch slightly raised from the wrist for easy reading.
The watch is in stainless steel equipped with a Swiss quartz movement, a tempered mineral glass and it is water-resistant to 30 metres. The Snakey is available with either a black or grey dial.
Max Giorgetti, the designer, has worked on many projects within the fashion world and in particular with branded eyewear. His association with Alfex, he explains “… has provided a new creative stimulus and this generates enthusiasm, a true driving force that is fundamental in the work of a designer.”
Giorgetti concludes: “My job is quite simple: I eliminate the superfluous without ever adding anything …”
