AQUANAUTE LUCE by Patek Philippe

April 2005

Following the success of the Aquanaute, which was launched a few years ago and succeeded in reaching its goal – that is, to attract a younger and more fashion-forward clientele to the venerable Geneva brand - Patek Philippe is now introducing the Aquanaute Luce.

Targeting a feminine audience, it is Patek’s first sports watch made in steel and diamonds. The dial is available in six refined colours with a matching bracelet decorated in the same design. Forty-six round Top Wesselton diamonds emphasize the oval shape of the dial, which shows the time with twelve grey gold hour markers. The high-tech ‘Tropical’ bracelet is made of an ultra-resistant composite material that is “practically indestructible” and requires many steps in its production process. It comes equipped with an in-house quartz movement. Distribution on a global scale will begin during the summer of 2005. The original, elegant, fashionable yet discreet Aquanaute Luce will undoubtedly go beyond its intended status of a ‘sports’ watch to also become a city dweller, and a prestigious one at that.
