Victorinox Swiss Army introduces its first mechanical dive timepiece

January 2008

Following the market success of the Dive Master 500M Swiss-made quartz collection, Victorinox Swiss Army has dramatically upgraded this performance timepiece in a high-mech/high-tech Limited Edition of 900 pieces. The Dive Master 500 Limited Edition features a tough yet lightweight titanium case and bracelet treated with a special off-black PVD finish. A screw-down crown and see-through screw-in exhibition caseback provide the utmost protection against water and humidity while the new ETA 2896 11 1/2’’’ mechanical self-winding calibre brings accuracy and performance with a power reserve exceeding 42 hours. It withstands dives to 500 meters (1650 feet) and features a helium valve to evacuate any overpressure of the gas accumulated in the watchcase.
