The futuristic design from the 1970s found on this new piece—a collaboration between Romain Jerome, Eric Giroud and Jean-March Wiederrecht—is not dissimilar to another timepiece that recently featured in our pages. But the movement and time displays on this piece operate on two different planes and, while the readout for the hours is the ultimate in simplicity, the engine that powers them is highly complicated, involving lateral and linear movement, jumping hours and a retrograde display. The minutes are visible on a black disc, read off the top of the case.
