Seal kicks Couture show into high gear

May 2008

Las Vegas—The Couture show festivities officially kicked off with a high-energy performance from Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Seal that got attendees swaying to the music and singing along.

For the night, there was just one rule Seal joked: “You've just got to have fun.” And if the crowd's response was any indication, they were ready to oblige.

Gathering poolside at the Wynn Las Vegas were exhibitors, “cornerstone retailers” and sponsors, who eagerly tuned in to the musician's set, a mix of new tunes from his latest album System, plus old favorites like “Crazy” and “Kiss From a Rose.”

Singer/songwriter Seal kept the Couture crowd captivated.

During the two-hour event, attendees indulged in cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and got a good look at new marketing messages from Palladium Alliance International, co-sponsor along with Mouawad of the opening night reception. Signage around the pool area and on the stage backdrop read, “Do you have the metal?” and “Palladium is now,” and “This is the metal, this is the year,” among others.

The Couture show will run through June 2 at the Wynn Las Vegas.
