The Bozeman Watch Company has scheduled an increase in price of the Schofield watch. With a final production run of 15, the remaining silver-dial Schofields will cost US$7,200 instead of US$6,400 as of 15 July 2008.
Much like its namesake, The Bozeman Watch Company’s silver-dial Schofield, the original design for the “Montana Class Watch Collection”, is a rare breed. Named after the 19th century cavalryman’s pistol, the Schofield embodies simple elegance and classic sophistication.
The Schofield revolver was produced from 1875 to 1878 for use by the U.S. cavalry for the country’s expansion into the West. It was designed to meet the rigorous needs of the horseback mounted soldiers and like the watch, was limited in its production numbers.
44.5mm diameter, hand-worked 3-piece case and lugs in brushed and polished stainless steel.
Modified Val Granges automatic calibre, officially certified chronometer.
Individually placed stainless Roman Numerals and raised luminescent 3,6,9,12 hour markers.
Water resistance to 10 ATM.
Convex sapphire crystal.
Just as comfortable for the wearer on horseback as it would be in the boardroom, the silver-dial Schofield houses a 25-jewel, COSC-certified Val Granges calibre that celebrates Switzerland’s finest movement production, the Grenchen Valley. With an array of saddle leather and caiman skin straps to choose from, the silver-dial Schofield is the perfect fit for all occasions.
With a final production run of 15, the remaining silver-dial references will see an increase of their price from US$6,400 up to US$7,200 as of 15 July 2008.
