G.L.D.A., Inc. announced it will not be holding the Las Vegas Winter Gem & Jewelry Show scheduled for January 25 – 27, 2009 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. The show has been rescheduled to August 30, 31, and September 1, of 2009.

The August dates coincide with the busiest “ International Fashion & Accessories Trade Show” of the year. The High Fashion Trade Show brings over 120,000 wholesale buyers each year from all over the world. That, coupled with the G.L.D.A. Jewelry buyers, should make for a fantastic fit. The complementary nature of these two industries will lead to a successful merge of both the jewelry and the fashion shows.

There are already a number of jewelry & watch companies who exhibit at “The High Fashion Trade Show” or one of the satellite shows being held during the same period, but there is not yet a section or show strictly for jewelry and G.L.D.A intends to fill this slot.

The G.L.D.A. “High Fashion Jewelry and Watch Show” will feature something for everyone including “Fine Jewelry, Diamonds, Watches, Gems, Pearls & Opals”, “Silver and Bead Designs” as well as “High Fashion Costume Jewelry” and “Jewelry Related Gift Items”.
