Valentino Rossi took a day out of his busy schedule to join Jaeger-LeCoultre at the Venice Film Festival. Rossi, who is currently leading the MotoGP by an impressive 75 points, was delighted to spend the day relaxing watching films before the next round of the MotoGP in Indianapolis on September 14th.
Valentino Rossi:
I am delighted to be at la Mostra del Cinema di Venizia being a cinema fan myself. As a matter of fact, whenever I want to relax, I enjoy watching dvds, and even more so when I am with friends. Lately, during the little spare time I have, I enjoy watching cult movies from the 70s or 80s. For the moment, I am concentrating on an important film from the MotoGP championship and this keeps me busy for the whole day! This is also why I am so delighted to be here in Venice, with friends and celebrities from the cinema world. I thank Jaeger-LeCoultre, principal sponsor from La Mostra, and la Biennale for inviting me to spend a day of cinema; it is so rare. Venice is such a special city, and being lucky enough to see it during this visit to the festival, makes it even more beautiful.
Claudio Angè –Director Jaeger-LeCoultre Italia
“We are very proud to welcome Valentino Rossi, at La Mostra , our Lion..”. His is a guest of honor and this is a way to thank La Biennale, who allowed us to be linked with the Golden Lion!”.
For the 4th year in a row, Jaeger-LeCoultre is associated with the prestige of the Mostra giving a prize of unique character, a Reverso limited edition watch.
