Following the success of the 2007 edition, the second Megève-Monaco car rally gathered teams from all over Europe. The rally is normally open to Ferraris only but this year Maseratis were accepted upon special request.
A « club like » atmosphere, international meetings, a common passion and top organisation were the keys to the huge success of this second edition.
A varied assortment
Although it was exclusively composed of modern Ferraris and Maseratis, the 2008 Megève-Monaco gathered a huge variety of models produced between 1986 and 2008, some V8 and V12, two or four seaters.
Prizes
Prestigious prizes were awarded to the winners of each test.On this occasion, Team 20 which was composed of Roger and Viviane Blomet aboard their Maserati 3200GT both received a Space 3 watch which was presented by Bruno Bouscary, the Bell & Ross representative. In a genuine act of fair play and kindness, the Blomets decided to give one of their two watches to the runners up, Fran and Richard McCarthy from England who were also aboard a Maserati.
