Saint Honore: Partner of the Ladies French Open Golf Tournament

October 2008

Each year, the Ladies French Open Golf Tournament, the French segment of the Ladies European Tour, unites the world’s best female players from all over the world as well as young up-and-coming French players (amateurs and professionals) who come attempting to earn some points to assure their selection for the Solheim Cup.

This year no less than 126 players competed against each other with Saint Honore as “Official Timekeeper” and sponsor, including the highly anticipated international players Laura Davies, Nina Reis, Linda Wessberg, Stefani Croce, Anja Monke…and French golfers Gwladys Nocera, Anne-Lise Caudal and Sophie Giquel.

This rendezvous with the elite of European women's Golf is an opportunity that Saint Honore shared with its customers by offering them the possibility of playing in a Pro-Amateur's competition the 2 days before the Open and then following the golfers for 4 days on the prestigious 18-hole Golf d’Arras (a total of 72 holes across 4 days).

At the end of the tournament, Saint Honore presented awards to the best French, European or International players. The German player Anja Monke, who experienced her first European victory at the event, received a magnificent pink gold and diamond Orsay Medium Automatic.
